VFX PRODUCER

VFX PRODUCER

Masters of Reality is seeking a VFX Producer to join our small, award winning team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the studio and project management. For all jobs, you will facilitate the process from early client discussions, bidding and shot breakdowns, right through to making sure the final result is completed to brief, of a high standard and delivered on time. Working with the VFX supervisor, VFX Coordinator and artists you will ensure shots are being tracked and delivered according to established targets and milestones. This position requires effective project and people management skills. We are looking for a clear communicator that demonstrates a high level organisation and possesses a proactive and positive attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain existing client & vendor relationships and establish new business

Work alongside VFX Supervisor in leading projects and planning studio growth

Manage and mentor the Production Coordinator

Provide quotes to clients

Schedule work into the facility

Coordinate resources - assign crew to each project, arrange freelancers and outsourcing vendors as required

Prepare and brief crew prior to each project with VFX Supervisor

Top level project tracking through weekly Shotgrid and cost reporting

Finalise billings for projects

Oversee general studio administration

Organise relevant literature and showreels for prospective clients

REQUIREMENTS

Experience supervising people and projects

Experience managing budgets

Strong written and verbal skills

Outcome driven and highly efficient

Ability to operate autonomously as well as a part of a team

Detailed understanding of the VFX production process and equipment

Diplomacy skills

Strong sense of client service and people orientated

Administrator level knowledge of ShotGrid Software

3+ years employment in the Animation and VFX industry in a Producer role

This role is an immediate start as a three-month contract with the view of extending to a full-time position. Remuneration commensurate with experience.
