VFX PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Masters of Reality is seeking a VFX Production Assistant to join our award winning team. You will facilitate administration delivery within the Show/Discipline; managing calendars, note taking, and acting as the client liaison for reviews and sends. The PA is responsible for downloading, publishing and tracking all material received by the client. You will also set up and update show tracking documents; working with the Production Manager to input data into weekly reports and carry out day-to-day ad-hoc production tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

A passion for film - a keen interest in the business of filmmaking and in gaining further experience

Working experience with ShotGrid is considered an asset but not required

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets

Good written/verbal communication

Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Strong organisation skills

Excellent time management

Good use of initiative and proactive

People Person

Ability to work well in a team environment 

Willingness to learn new skills & technologies

Any of the following experience is a great advantage:

Previous knowledge of the film industry

Previous experience working in a post-production environment

Please note, interest in this role is not an entry level job for an “artist”.

This part time role is an immediate start as a three-month contract with the view of extending to a full-time position. Remuneration commensurate with experience.
