VFX PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Masters of Reality is seeking a VFX Production Coordinator to join our team. You will work with the Producer, VFX Supervisor and artists to ensure shots are being tracked and delivered according to established targets and milestones. This position requires effective project management skills. We are looking for a clear communicator that demonstrates a high level of organisation and possesses a proactive and positive attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Scheduling, prioritising and tracking internal assignments and project details

Organise dailies, rounds and meetings

Record and distribute all project notes whether from clients, dailies or rounds

Coordinate and create playlists for dailies / client review sessions

Ensure ShotGrid/Flow statuses and tasks are tracked and up to date

Ensure schedules and studio docs are up to date (Google Docs)

Coordinate and upload package deliveries, compile and send submission information

Plan weekly and daily task schedule with VFX Supervisor

Ensure crew are clear on project scope through weekly and daily delivery objectives

Monitor and manage project progress, technical issues and studio development

Ensuring work is being approved and completed on time and to specification

Administrate daily studio tasks - timesheet completion, stationery purchases and meal orders when required

REQUIREMENTS

Highly organised with excellent scheduling and task management skills

Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to problem solve effectively in a fast paced environment

Minimum 1 year of experience within the VFX or film production industry

Conversant with visual effects terminologies and processes

Ability to liaise and collaborate with clients, artists and producers

Understanding of visual effects processes including asset development, layout, matte painting, animation, fx, lighting and compositing is considered an asset

Working experience with ShotGrid/Flow is essential

Strong knowledge of MS Office package and/or Google Docs

Role reports to VFX Supervisor and VFX Production Manager

This role starts in July as a six-month contract with the view of extending to a full-time position. Remuneration commensurate with experience.
